Letter Signed by Fouche as Minister of Police to the

Minister of War acknowledging receipt of his letter

indicating the escape of the spy Nau from the Mainz jail .

Fouche responds that as a precaution he has arranged

for the arrest of Nau's accomplice a man named Debeille.
"All precautionary measures will be taken to ensure that
the latter (Debeille) can neither escape nor correspond
with anyone"
